HGGaoli Successfully Passes ASPICE CL2 Assessment
Recently, HGGaoli successfully passed the Automotive SPICE® 4.0 Capability Level 2 (CL2) assessment. This marks HGGaoli’s full alignment with the highest prevailing standards in the international automotive industry in terms of automotive electronics software development maturity, quality control, and project delivery capabilities.
Automotive SPICE® (ASPICE) is a globally recognized benchmark for software development capability in the automotive industry and serves as a critical qualification criterion for major automakers when selecting core supply chain partners. The CL2 level specifically evaluates the standardization of a company’s R&D processes, process repeatability, and traceability of deliverables, requiring an enterprise to establish a closed-loop project management system covering the entire lifecycle, achieving refined and standardized control over development activities and work products.
This assessment was conducted based on HGGaoli’s core project, “PTC Heater,” and utilized the latest Automotive SPICE® 4.0 model. It involved rigorous reviews across multiple dimensions, including systems engineering, software engineering, project management, and supporting processes.
Since the launch of the assessment preparation, HGGaoli has coordinated resources and formed a dedicated task force to conduct an in-depth review and restructuring of its existing R&D processes. Following multiple rounds of refinement and a stringent audit by an internationally recognized authority, HGGaoli successfully secured ASPICE CL2 certification. Highly Standardized Software Engineering: Within the Software Engineering (SWE) process group, all process areas from SWE.1 to SWE.6 achieved CL2 level, forming end-to-end standardized capabilities across requirements analysis, architecture design, development and construction, and various testing phases.
Comprehensive Systems Engineering Compliance: Within the System Engineering (SYS) process group, process areas from SYS.2 to SYS.5 simultaneously achieved CL2 maturity, demonstrating robust capabilities in system analysis, integration, and test management.
Robust Management and Support Systems: Within the Management Process (MAN.3) and Supporting Process groups (SUP.1/8/9/10), project management and related support activities also met CL2 requirements, indicating that HGGaoli has established a highly reusable and standardized R&D management foundation.
