HGGAOLI Leads Development of Group Standard for PTC Air Heaters in New Energy Vehicles
Recently, the Group Standard for PTC Air Heaters in New Energy Vehicles developed under the leadership of HGGaoli, was reviewed and officially released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
PTC air heaters, typically integrated in HVAC systems, serve critical functions such as compartment heating, defrosting, and defogging. With the rapid expansion of the new energy vehicle(NEV) market, the PTC air heater industry holds immense potential. However, the absence of national or industry-wide standards has led to varying enterprise standards among OEMs and Auto parts manufacturers, resulting in higher development costs and poor platform compatibility.
The establishment of this standard provides guidelines for product design and manufacturing, offers technical benchmarks for performance and safety evaluations by manufacturers and testing institutions, and promotes healthy and orderly industry development.
By far, HGGaoli has engaged in the development of 1 national standard, 2 industry standards, 6 group standards, and has completed over 10 scientific and technological achievements, filed 780+ domestic and international IP applications, and won the title of "National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise". Leading the development of this group standard reflects the company’s long-standing technical expertise and industry leadership.
Moving forward, HGGaoli will keep up with the industrial transformation and evolving application scenarios to tackle core technology challenges, and strengthen R&D to enhance competitiveness and drive sustained progress and innovation of the industry.
